Human Cannonball Show

THE GREATEST THRILL ATTRACTION TOURING TODAY!
THE SMITH FAMILY OF HUMAN CANNONBALLS!

World Record holder, David Smith, Sr. cannot adequately explain just why he is motivated to be fired from the mouth of a cannon on a daily basis, but his enthusiasm has been passed on to a new generation. The Cannonball Smith team now boasts three units:
CANNONBALL SMITH - DAVID SMITH, SR.
DAVID SMITH, JR. - THE BULLET
JENNIFER SMITH - LADY CANNONBALL.

On August 31, 2002 Smith Sr. broke his own “Guinness World Record for the furthest distance by a Human Cannonball” for the third consecutive time, by safely landing a 200 ft. 4 in.shot, while performing at the Steele County Free Fair in Owatonna, Minnesota. They are still pushing the limits today shooting as high and as far as possible so they can get the ultimate rush and give the best show possible. They are seen by millions each year doing what they love the most, performing.

In addition to their unique daredevil shows, they alsoprovide terrific interviews as they talk about their
motivation, their training, their records, and their near misses. Length of the area needed for the cannon shot for the men averages 220 feet. For Jennifer the distance averages 175 feet. This area does not have to be completely clear as long as the performers can see the net from the cannon (i.e. they can fire over parked cars, concession stands, fair booths, etc.).

Areas for the landing nets must be clear of spectators. Nets average 48 ft. long x 23 ft. wide. Thismeasurement does not include the guy lines that go out from the four corners and sides on an angle to stakes in the ground. Guy lines are approximately 35 ft. long.
